Cassandra Marie, that's me! I've been accused of being called "Smiley" before. I'm still smiling, just 30-something years older now :) Jon Acuff's book Start stated something that's stuck with me. As we search for our life's passion, we can usually find it in the interests of our childhood. I've always loved pictures, picture frames, scrapbooking, craftiness, anything else photo related...and smiling. So in 2011 I decided to do something about it. I bought my sister's camera (she's the best photographer in the world!) and began reading, learning, and practicing photography.
I met my college love, Jake, in 2003 while we were both attending Purdue, and we married in 2009. We live in Wheatfield, IN where we both hold full-time careers in agriculture and help operate the family farm. I also enjoy canning, antiques, and re-purposing. Some of my favorite things are old wooden chairs (for painting bright new colors!), vases, mason jars, wheat fields (I mean, I DO live in Wheatfield), and making others happy.
